It started with a hexagon.
DnA Plastics is a one-person additive-manufacturing shop in Warsaw, Indiana — built on the idea that the right part is the one made for the job, not the one that happened to fit.
An accessibility project
The first printer was bought for a single reason: to make life easier for a family member with a visual impairment. The project was a set of large, tactile, hexagonal button caps — easy to find and press by feel.
That hexagon stuck. It's in our logo, and it's the reason this shop exists. Once the printer was solving one problem, it started solving others — and the ones worth making for other people turned into DnA Plastics.
The hex motif you see throughout the brand is a nod to that beginning: a reminder that good design starts with the person who has to use the thing.
Small batch, done right
Designed in CAD
Every part is modeled parametrically, so a change in spec is a change in a number — not a new tool and a six-week wait.
Printed in-house
We control orientation, material, and finishing on every run, and we keep your files so reorders match the originals.
Priced fairly
We hold ourselves to a hard markup cap and quote honestly. You pay for the part and the work — nothing padded on top, no "shop fee" for the privilege.
Who you're working with
DnA Plastics is a registered DBA of DnA Crafted Wood LLC, an Indiana company. We're insured, we collect and remit Indiana sales tax properly, and we keep clean records on every order. For industrial customers, that means a quote, a documented spec, and a part you can reorder years from now from a file rather than somebody's memory.
Made in the USA — actually made, by a real person, on a real printer, in a real garage. Warsaw, Indiana.
