System
A storage system, not a box. Pick a base, drop in the modules you want — drawers, split drawers, open cubbies — and pick a color for every single one. Then add on later, because the bases chain end to end and the thing you build this month still fits the thing you build next year.
Version 4.1, and that’s not marketing
These started as a set for my own shop, because nothing on the shelf at the big-box store fit the way I actually store things. Three versions got printed, used, and thrown out before this one earned a spot on the wall.
What changed along the way: drawer fronts that print clean without support scars, runners that don’t bind when the drawer is full, and a base system that stays square as it grows instead of drifting out of line once you’re four modules wide.
Printed in PLA, which is the right call at this size — it prints flat and stays flat on parts this big, and it holds color better than anything else on the shelf. For a hot garage or a sunny window, ask me — that’s a different material and a different conversation.

Build the set you actually need
- Start with a base. One module wide, two wide, or an expandable end piece if you already know this is going to grow.
- Pick your modules. Six to choose from — two drawer sizes, a split drawer, and open cubbies for the things you grab constantly.
- Pick colors. Every module, every drawer front, and the base can be a different color. Or all the same. Your shop.
- Snap it together however you want. Snap connectors come with every set. Nothing arrives glued into one arrangement — you decide what stacks where, and you can pull it apart and redo it next month.
- Add on whenever. Multi-width extensions chain a run sideways as far as your bench allows — cap the ends and keep going.
Everything is 6″ deep
Every module shares the same 6″ depth — about 5½″ of that is usable drawer — so any module drops into any base and any set lines up with any other set. There is no wrong combination and nothing to measure twice.
Which also means you don’t have to get the order right the first time. Buy two, live with it, add four more when you figure out what you actually store.
Six to choose from
All 6″ deep. These are the pieces the sets are built from — mix them however you like along a base.
2×4 Drawer
The standard. A 2″ × 4″ opening, 2½″ × 4½″ outside — the size most small hardware, components and craft supplies want to live in.
4×4 Drawer
Double height — a 4″ × 4″ opening, 4½″ × 4½″ outside. For what doesn’t fit the standard: bigger tools, tangled cable, bulk stock.
2×4 Split Drawer
The 2×4 frame split into two narrow drawers, 2″ × 1⅞″ each. Twice the sorting in the same footprint — the answer to one drawer holding six different screws.
2×4 Cubby
The 2×4 frame, open front, no drawer. For whatever you reach for twenty times a day and don’t want to open a drawer to get at.
2×4 Split Cubby
The split frame with both halves left open. Two compartments, nothing to pull — good for the parts that live in your hand more than in the drawer.
4×4 Cubby
The big open one, and the most material-efficient part in the line — roughly twice the storage of a 2×4 drawer for less plastic. Tall enough for bottles and spray cans.
What it all sits on
Every set comes with them. The base is the foot of the stack — modules sit on it and snap together going up. Every base has four spots for the anti-slip feet that come with it, so the whole thing stays where you put it. Pick the one that matches how much bench you have, and how much you’ll want later.
Single-Width Base
Holds one column. The smallest way in, and the whole stack sits on it.
Multi-Width End
Caps either end of a longer run. Start here if you already know it’s going to grow.
Multi-Width Extension
Chains between the ends. Add as many as the bench will take.
Three ways to start
Buying a set is cheaper than the same pieces one at a time, and it’s the sensible way in — you get a working stack on day one instead of a single drawer wondering what to do with it. Snap connectors and anti-slip feet come with every set.

A note on printed parts
These are 3D-printed. Expect fine layer texture on the surfaces and small variation between units — that's normal for the process and doesn't affect fit or function.
